Do Now 6/8/09 100 word essay

I am coming back to IDEA Mission because I believe that IDEA focuses on a greater goal than just passing the TAKS. I believe that it focuses on college and we will all have a better future because of this school. I am coming back to this school because it will educate you very well and you will have a greater job. I want to come back because our goal is 100% everyday. Here at IDEA, you will have very great teachers and will be taught as much as possible so you can achieve your goal of going to college.

I will manage my time wisely. I will also probably make another movie. I hope I don't get lazy but most of the time,  I'm hard working. I will stay on task all the time. :-)

Hi! My name is Rebecca Hernandez.

 I live in Mission, Texas. I am in the 6^th Grade at IDEA Mission College Prep.  My favorite subject is ELA. I am involved in schools activities, such as Soccer.  I also enjoy using the computer because these computers are new and I practice my typing skills.  Three words that describe me are: smart, awesome, and silly. The person I admire most is my mom because she has taught me mostly everything I know and she never gave up on my brother or me. If I could be anything I wanted to be, I would become an architect because I can get a good house and take care of myself. When I go to college, I will study architect.  I will attend Harvard University.  I chose this college because it is a very hard to get in and they teach you very good.   Something I think I will be challenging in college is being organized and make time to do all my projects. Something I think will be fun in college is being on your own and having no one there to boss you around. After college I will start my own business and earn enough money to have a great job.

(Violette and Michelle are going to enter classroom and start talking. Teacher is writing on the board.)

Teacher: OK, today we will learn about erosion. This is a (Looks at Michelle )... No chewing gum.

Michelle: I can do whatever I want! (Michelle and Violette roll their eyes)

Teacher: That's enough! I'm calling the principal.

M and V: Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. That's the best defence you've got? (They laugh)

Teacher: If you guys do that again, I'll... give you a pass to the principal's office. (She turns around to write on board. Violette and Michelle start to smack their lips and laugh super hard. They get sent to the principal and have a conference.

Principal: Don't ever do that again or you will be expelled!!! (They then learn their lesson and behave good)

Teacher: Good morning!

Michelle: Yeah! Let's learn about meanders or whatever they are.

Violette: Learning is fun!!! HE HE HE!!!

Do Now 5/21/09

I will be in my seat all the time and I will focus on my work. If my hand isn't tired, I can probably take notes. : - ) I will also behave good. I will do my best everyday so I can finish my project.
